King Coal has sold equipment from Fairbanks, Alaska to the south of Chile. For information about some previous installations CLICK HERE. All of our stokers are custom designed to burn a particular fuel type, and meet a certain heat output needed.
In recent years King Coal has been the standard for solid fuel firing in schools in the region. With the recent rise in oil prices, modern computer controlled stokers burning coal and/or wood, must be considered to control your bottom line. Currently the cost of various fuels to make 1,000,000 BTU's of heat is:
- Propane $22.00
- Heating Oil $24.00
- Natural Gas $10.00
- Coal is $3.00*
To put it simply, if you are currently heating your facility for $60,000 annaully on heating oil, your cost of fuel heating with coal would be $7500. Thats $52,500 of fuel savings annually.
